Slowly but surely I'm catching the "grapevine" vision!.

I'd like to start with a commitment to being a "founder" and "campaigner" and from there I'll wait to see what further opportunities are possible.

I'm not sure why it's taken me so long to catch the vision but now that I at least have a glimpse of it I want to remain motivated to fulfill it!

With encouragement,

-P. H., California

Enclosed please find a gift of $50 for the work in the U . S. Center for World Mission.

May God bless you in this service. We would like to have a report of special needs. This gift is from the Women's Missionary Society.

-G. S., Pennsylvania

[For a report of special needs of the Center, and a prayer guide, please write in for the new, monthly publication, "COMMUNIQUE. " Ed.

How I enjoyed the World Briefing Conference! It was thrilling to hear what God is doing in the various areas of the world.

However, it was sobering to hear how much remains to be done. I am praying for a mighty Student Volunteer Movement for frontier missions to sweep over the college campuses all over the world, so that we may get the job done very soon.

I pray that many large gifts may come in to the Center, and that the $15.95 gifts may begin coming in by the thousands.

In Christ,

-G. R., California

I read a copy of the "Jericho" book that someone left at church today. It was great to hear the way God has worked there. It also reminded me of my need to contribute to the work.

I appreciate the materials coming out of the Center and hope to use them to stimulate mission interest in my own denomination when I get back to Ohio.

I am finishing my MA in Cross Cultural Communications at Wheaton so I've seen and heard Dr. Winter on campus and have read some of his books and articles. I appreciate what he's doing.

Sincerely,

L. B., Illinois

Enclosed is a check for $20 to use toward paying off your next payment.

Thinking through what I know of church history and missions, I feel that your organization is one of the most revolutionary and new practical approaches to world missions in this century, and perhaps even since the beginning of "modern missions"!! Why more Christians and Christian organizations and mission agencies don't support you, I don't understand.

Sincerely,

-R. S., Oregon

It seems unbelievable that in November 1979 I mailed you the $15.95 check and have enjoyed Mission Frontiers and Prayer for the Hidden People with little help beyond prayer.

I am aged, widowed and on a limited income, but profoundly interested, knowing that we are living in the "latter times" and I praise our glorious Lord for enabling me to send the little enclosed check.

Prayerfully yours,

-K.R., New York

I read and was encouraged by your book, Once More Around Jericho. As the leader of a Bible study group on my college campus which is very concerned about the need for missions and our personal responsibility towards the physical and spiritual needs of unreached peoples, I gained some valuable insights from the story told in your book.

Especially eye opening was the idea that raising the money is a means of spreading the missionary vision, rather than a means of getting money.

Sincerely,

-F.P., South Carolina

I am a Christian real estate agent, and I feel led of the Lord to share my tithe with your work.

Sincerely,

-C.M., Colorado
