Kids Korner

Greetings!

FALL! And I've had a very busy hot summer, many days without enough volunteer help in the Mission Resource Center. In addition to helping in the MRC, I prepared and taught the weekly kids summer story hour. The attendance ranged from 2 to 17!

I'm receiving so many letters from you dear people who are reading this magazine -- from New Zealand to Nigeria! Don't forget -- the ultimate goal in reaching and teaching children is to inform and challenge them to help reach the Unreached Peoples.

Mission Adventures In Many Lands, by Lawrence Driskill, is a bright collection of 52 mission adventures, many of them from Japan. These true-to-life tales, geared for grades 4 to 6 have already been used in many churches. The author was a missionary to Japan. $11.95, Paperback. I hope you looked very closely at the July-August issue of this magazine, because there are six NEW listings in the children's section, making a total of 12 listings -- in addition to the book, KIDS FOR THE WORLD.
