Mobilizing For The Frontiers!

The Middle East is not the only place where a great mobilization effort is taking place!

The Mobilization Division is one of the four divisions of the U.S. Center for World Mission. We are working to stir up frontier mission vision in the North American Church and to mobilize them for active involvement in the task of planting a church in each of the 12,000 unreached people groups by the year 2000. Our goal is to see 6,000 of these unreached people groups adopted by North American churches and fellowship groups by 1995. As a participant in the "Adopt-A-People" program these adopting churches and fellowships covenant with a participating mission agency to study, pray, and financially support an outreach to their adopted people group. The Adopt-A-People program can significantly help fulfill the Great Commission by the year 2000!

In order to accomplish the goal of seeing 6,000 unreached peoples adopted, the Mobilization Division produces resources, such as brochures, manuals, videos and more, to equip and motivate Christians toward their strategic involvement in the completion of the Great Commission. These resources can be customized by churches for use with their congregation. One of the resources we have already produced is The Year of Vision, a complete mission discipleship program, designed to mobilize people to active involvement in reaching the frontiers. As the vision is communicated through these resources and people catch the vision we need to develop networks of people across the country who are willing to link arms with us to accomplish the goal of seeing these 6,000 unreached people groups adopted by 1995. The goal can be reached by 1995.

But we need your help!
We need people to help us with:

  • The development and production of more resources like The Year of Vision to communicate God's heart of love for all the nations.
  • The development of networks of people who will work with their churches and friends to share the vision of the US Center and programs like the Adopt-A-People program.
  • The clerical and administrative work that every organization needs in order to function effectively.

If you are interested in being involved in this great mobilization effort and would like to join the U.S. Center or simply volunteer part- or full time, we would love to talk to you. Call Jerome Hannaman of the Mobilization Division, at 818/ 398-2200 or write to the U.S. Center for World Mission, 1605 Elizabeth St., Pasadena CA 91104 USA.

Together We Can Mobilize the Christians of America to Finish the Great Commission!
