This is an article from the April 1981 issue: Who Really Killed Chet Bitterman?

Dear Friends,

Last night I was in the Gobi desert: the temperature was down to 40 below zero. . .80 mph winds blow for four more months. . .minions of Muslims untouched by even China's drastic Cultural Revolution.

Then, suddenly the 500 color slides ran out, the lights went on, and we found ourselves back in Pasadena again.

Now, as you hold this little bulletin in your hands you are in Colombia at the graveside of Chet Bitterman. Hundreds of showings of a deceptive film have whipped university students into anger, murderous anger. Dozens of further lives are now being threatened. However, like a detective, one of the keenest thinkers, writers, and doers in the mission world, Don Richardson, has taken pen in hand and make a brilliant replysee page 5. Don't miss that. Aren't we silly to ignore a mounting secularist conspiracy?

We have a conspiracy of our own We continue to contact major Christian organizations. None yet has been anything but enthusiastic. Wheels of formal agreement (for big organizations) take time, but the Loose Change Fellowship for Frontiers rolls on. One hundred million dollars for Frontiers is the goal set for December 31. The money is not for the U.S. Center (except for the first $15.95), but for a growing consortium of agencies actually working with the Hidden Peoples. Two days ago our man came back from Burma with the documentary footage on film. His trip was a thrilling story in itself! This will soon be available as a movie introducing the whole idea.

We're on the air! By faith, the Loose Change Fellowship for Frontiers now has its own broadcast. Perhaps your Christian radio station in your area can carry it. Or you can send for the daily 15-minute tapes, one week on a cassette. So far it is on KBRT (740 Kc), 8:15 8:30 a.m., Monday through Friday. This is the most powerful Christian radio station in Southern California.

Write to me for further details about this expanding Fellowship. Join the conspiracy (Tear off the back page of this paper for convenience.)
