At the Center

Volunteer Applies Professional Skills to Mission Problems
Dr. Frank Hagler of Glendora, California is currently volunteering at the Center helping member agencies do “structured planning.” So far, he’s worked with Global Opportunities and Caleb Resources. He says he’d be delighted to help other agencies as well—at the Center or elsewhere.

On disability leave from TranAmerica Corporation, Hagler said structured planning “makes plannning easy to do and easy to understand.” It “shows the relationships between all the steps in the process” and helps planners to see where they’re going and what they need to do to get there.

“I’m a methodologist,” he said. “My concern is to facilitate the planning process, not to make agency decisions.” If you have professional skills you’d like to make available to the mission industry, call Dave Sand at the Center’s Volunteer Office, (818) 797-1111.

If your agency could benefit from structured planning, call or write Frank Hagler, 751 Parkbrook Ln., Glendora, CA 91740. (818) 963-6918. n
