The Lord allowed me to meet my husband after I completed Columbia Bible College in 1970.  He was already accepted with TEAM and headed to Irian Jaya—now Papua, INDONESIA. 

We served as church developers in a tribal language group located in the Bird’s Head area.  He taught semi-literate pastors and church leaders.  I worked on literacy primers.  Eventually trained literacy teacher to teach people in their villages how to read.  My husband died July 2000 and I returned 1 1/2 yrs. later to complete what we had started with the Meyah church.  I have been involved during the past 12 years in revising Sunday School lessons and teaching Sunday School teachers how to teach the lessons.  I am planning to retire December of this year.
