Passport to the World

A New Strategic Weapon in your Prayer Arsenal!

Passport to the World

Passports are a missionary's most essential document. In fact, you'll never get out of the airport without it.

In the same way, the new "Passport to the World" series of booklets will equip you in your desire to intercede intelligently for the nations. Thick with invaluable information, these Passport to the World booklets will assist you in educated prayer for unreached peoples.

These illustrative and descriptive 5 1/2" X 4" booklets are bulging with crucial information, colorful pictures, graphs and statistics, all double checked to insure their accuracy.

The expected categories of geography, climate, history, culture, language and religion are all discussed. Written by experienced missionaries and others who are intimately informed, these booklets attempt to get beyond the obvious: to interpret recent events, and to give the reader a glimpse into the present spiritual climate of these rapidly changing countries.

The Passport series puts detailed information into the hands of Christians who will use it in warfare prayer so that the nations of the world will be powerfully penetrated with God's Good News. This will not be accomplished through a casual calling upon God. It isn't enough to pray, "God bless the whole world in Jesus name, Amen." The world will not be won by such unexercised prayer! Realizing that God's heart is for "every nation, tribe and tongue" and allowing the Lord to create this same passion within you is the beginning of true intercession. It is an entrance into fierce spiritual battle with the great enemy of souls! Scripture asserts that Satan stalks the earth like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour (1 Pet. 5:8). Yet, we are exhorted to fight, not with the weapons of the world as though we are facing flesh and blood foes, but to wage warfare in the heavenlies, demolishing demonic strongholds throughout the nations. Serious intercessory prayer is not simply a prelude to the "real work of evangelism." Instead, evangelism is the important mop-up after the real battle has been won in the prayer trenches.

These booklets are a wonderful resource for churches, individuals, prayer ministries and mission agencies to help them mobilize prayer and commitment to reach the unreached peoples. The potential uses and applications of this resource are numerous.

Enjoy this excerpt from the passport to Papua New Guinea.

"Western materialism is drastically affecting the surface social structures of Papua New Guinea as better clothing, different food and all types of man-made possessions are introduced. But it will take more than transistors, trade-stores and T-shirts to displace the traditional religion of the people. Although a man may ride a bicycle, listen to the radio and wear short pants, he will probably resort to the ancestral religion when confronted with the major issues of death, sickness or disaster. Mere material wealth will not significantly affect this animistic world view.

"In our quest to plant Biblical, New Guinea churches, what are we to do with this perplexing culture? Are we to preserve it, destroy it, or ignore it? (This dilemma is explained in this passport)"

Sixteen countries have been profiled in the passport series so far, including Myanmar (formerly Burma), Spain, Armenia, Thailand, Mongolia, Laos, Ethiopia, Morocco, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea. Additional countries are in various stages of production. Currently only Myanmar is printed and can be shipped immediately. The others will be printed based on the demand. If you would like copies of these other countries please call and let them know of your interest.

Excerpts from the Myanmar (Burma) Passport have been printed here on this page to give you an idea of the depth of information in these booklets as well as the beauty and quality that have been built into them.
