Praying for an Unreached People Group in the 10/40 Window

Fall is in the air, October is nearly here and that is the month that the AD 2000 Movement has set aside for all of us to pray through the 10/40 window. But while it is good for us to pray for each of those countries in the 10/40 Window, it is even more important for us to pray for the unreached people groups within those countries.To expedite that kind of praying, we now have available for you or your prayer groups a list of 10/40 Window countries with the unreached people groups in each of those countries. If you already have selected a country to pray for, you may contact us and we will send you a list of unreached people groups within that country. This will be an abbreviated list of the principal unreached groups unless the country has just a few groups in which case all will be listed.

If you have not chosen a country to pray for, you may contact us at the address below and we will give you the country that we have assigned to the prayer groups within your state with the appropriate list of unreached people groups for that country. The countries of the 10/40 Window have been divided up between the 50 states of the U. S. plus Puerto Rico with four of the larger states being assigned two countries.

This does not mean that if you have already chosen a country to pray for that you should change. We have only set this up for those who have not already chosen a country so that each country and each of the unreached people groups will be covered with prayer. But if you have a country and not an unreached people group, we can give you an unreached people groups within that country to pray for.

We also trust that this praying for a 10/40 country and an unreached people group will not stop when October is past. We trust this will only be the beginning of a mighty prayer movement within the United States for all of these unreached people groups. Also, if you are interested in helping to mobilize people within your area to pray and reach these unreached people groups. we still have many areas that need an area coordinator with the Mission Frontiers Vision Network.

We also now have available some prayer sheets for some of the unreached people groups. As more profiles or information become available, we hope to be able to provide one for all of the principal unreached people groups. These may be ordered by contacting us at the address below.

The Mission Frontiers Vision Network ministry is continuin. We hope now that our computer is all set up so we can respond to all the requests to be area coordinators that have been backing up. We have been able to send out most of the resource material that has been requested. Roberta Winter's book, I Will Do A New Thing is still out of print and is being updated, so we are running behind on some of those orders. It should be reprinted soon and we will send these as soon as they are available.
