Ladies and Gentlemen:

Received your letter regarding distribution of postcards in yesterday's mail. I think I will include this card with our monthly newsletter in January, if possible. We will need 280 cards to do that.

I very much appreciate your approach to funding the work you carry on! My people are very sensitive about this matter of sending funds outside the parish, and will find your method of requesting reasonably small, one time donations reassuring.

I hope they will become enthusiastic about the eyes outward world vision you hold as they are exposed to your newsletters and prayer letters!

With the request for cards comes a request for prayer that my people will be filled with eagerness to get on with the great commission that is theirs (with all Christians, of course), and a prayer that your work will be filled with a holy fruitfulness.

In the Master's Service,

D.H. Iowa

Dear Friends,

In this matter of the future of the Center, I am convinced your victory is our victory. Your victory is a victory of the Lord for every missions minded person in the world... and for many who are not.

Love in Christ,

D. B. West Rupert, Vermont

To You of U.S.C. for W.M.:

Enclosed is a check for thirty five dollars. How I wish it were much more. I am an old lady, and most of my missionary minded friends are now with the Lord.

I am sending this gift in memory of two of them who are not here to send a "one time gift" of $15.95 plus $3 for the Mission Frontiers for 1981.

I have been unsuccessful in getting anyone to try to contact others and interest them getting one reply "have more than I can do now." Sad to say the church I attend has very little missionary interest.

Praying for you as you labor so faithfully with weary bodies and praising God for all students getting interested in "Go Ye".

In Christian Love,

L.F. Pottstown, PA

U.S. Center for World Mission:

I'm enclosing a second check to hope and pray many "one timers" will do; as I feel your labor is of the Lord. I've given out the grapevine letters and trust some have been reached as first-timers.

The Lord bless each of you and guide you.

Sincerely,

E. Greenville, South Carolina

Dear Friends,

Thank you for the packet of information on programs offered through the U . S. Center for World Mission and the Mission Frontiers newsbulletin.

You are doing a work that is so needed in this world. Lord bless you and your staff as you plan, initiate, modify and dream of the training that will equip people to most effectively share the gospel.

In Christ,

S.O. Seattle, WA

Dear Friends,

I read your book and am very inspired about your ministry. I am sending a one time gift of $15.95 and will pass this book for someone else to read. And I put you on my prayer list to pray for you every day. Praying all the needs will be met for the missions ministry to be carried out.

Sincerely in Christ Jesus,

B. L. Jackson, Missouri

Dear Dr. Winter,

Here is a promise for the Center from my devotions I wish to share with you this day. "Listen to Me, O house of Jacob (U.S. Center for World Mission), /And all the remnant of the House of Israel, /You who have been borne by me from birth, /And have been carried from the womb, /Even to your old age, I shall be the same, /And even to your graying years I shall bear you! /1 have done it, and 1 shall carry you; /And I shall bear you, and I shall deliver you (U.S. Center for World Mission)." It is not the policy of [my wife) and I to support organizations, but people. I do feel led, however, as the prophet of old, to buy a deed   to show faith that I stand with the foregoing promise: "... 1 shall bear you... 1 shall carry you... 0 U.S. Center for World Mission." This small gift will in no way keep wolves from the door but it does express our faith that God can take it and multiply it.

Your missionary servant,

G. F. Greenwood, Indiana
