Dear Dr. & Mrs. Winter.

I have just received your most recent statistical printout, "The Final Mission Frontiers 1983" and with a friend have studied the information. It is so very well done. I will be teaching Freshman students "Introduction to Missions" and am wondering If it would be possible to receive 180 copies of the above mentioned printout for distribution to class members for study. I would also like to order the large poster size copies. Would you also send me a year's subscription to the Daily Prayer Guide. I am enclosing a cheque as a gift to the building fund.

Thank you very much. May God give you the wisdom and direction needed for the work and vision He has celled you to.

Yours truly,

-Betty F. Peterborough, Ont.

To whom it may concern,

I recently received a poster in the mail entitled "The Final Mission Frontiers  1983," I have been studying it on and off for a few days and am thrilled to see such a comprehensive study presented in a concise, understandable form!

I understand that I can order more from this address, so I am enclosing enough money for 10 of the poster size (123 x 163) on map paper. I want so much for the people around me to understand the tremendous need for laborers among these unreached peoples. Please pray that God would use these posters to inform them and challenge them to seek Him regarding their responsibility to these hidden people groups.

Thank you!

-Susan M. Harrisonburg, VA

Dear brothers and sisters,

I'm so thankful to God our Father for giving me a vision and a cause big enough to invest my whole life in. Our Frontier Fellowship meets every 3 weeks officially, but every Sunday afternoon there will be people meeting together pleading with God to send laborers into the Harvest and to break the churches in Augusta out of small visions. Let's persevere together in prayer.

Your brother in Christ.

-Robert P.

Dear USCWM,

I never cease to be astounded by the statistics of the 'Frontiers. In the December edition of Mission Frontiers you enclosed a Chart. Of the major pieces in the pie, the bottom pieces have over 2/3 of the hidden people groups (10.000 of the 16.750!). Yet there are less than 800 Protestant missionaries for this enormous task.

As a Christian deeply moved about missions and world evangelism this disturbs me. By God's grace I will try to promote the Center better in 1983.

However, your publications stirred me to reach out to Lao Buddhists. Now some have accepted Christ, and a church planting work is springing up.

My prayers are for you all and for the will of Cod to bear fruit In establishing His Center for World Mission. "They who wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength..." Isa. 40:31.

"Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these in shall be yours." Matt. 6:33

A Co-laborer w/you in Christ Jesus.

-Jonathan W.

Dear Ralph Winter,

"How hard it will be for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God." I just graduated from Caltech and I'm feeling very much like a rich man. I plan to give at least $550 a month to various groups serving God. So, I welcome the opportunity to "invest" in the future of the Center.

This particularly large check (for me, anyway) is for January and February. I'm praying for you. I pray that the message spreads to the thousands more people that are needed to pay for the campus.

In prayer,

-Chris K. San Jose, CA

Dear friends at USCWM.

I am enclosing a check to help meet the emergency just now. I read your paper with great interest and excitement as I learn of how the Gospel is penetrating the Unreached People Groups as the many different missions and organizations unite in this advance.

My late husband and I spent many of our early years in medical mission work in India until his health broke down there. It is still my "first love," after 40 years.

Sincerely,

-Alma Elbow Lake, MN

Dear Brothers & Sisters In Christ,

My wife and I are increasingly becoming aware of the challenge facing the church in this era the hidden and unreached peoples. You dear folks seem to be committed to the task of being His instruments to reach them and for this we say in our hearts, "the Lord bless you and sustain you."

In our own small way we would like to be channels for His resources to you as you carry out this task.

Accept the enclosed check for those purposes.

By His Grace,

-Mike & Laurie Buena Park, CA
