Caleb Resources Helping a New Generation Enter a New Land" A New Generation... Caleb Resources serves churches, mission agencies and campus ministries throughout the United States by encouraging and assisting baby boomers and baby busters to complete their part in evangelizing the world. This ministry is carried out through presentations, individual counseling, short-term field projects and by media resource development and distribution. A New Land... Caleb Resources focuses attention on the needs of the least- evangelized people groups in the world. Most of them live in a belt stretching from North Africa and Southeast asia. Within this belt are the vast majority of the world's unreached peoples and less than 10% of all Christians. Key Ministries Caleb Resources is mobilizing Christians by calling believers to involvement, spreading the vision of completing world evangelization, and discovering new opportunities for strategic ministry. A Call to Involvement Since 1986 over 100,000 students and young adults have been challenged to consider their role in completing the Great Commission by members of Caleb Resources Mobilization Teams. These teams travel thousands of miles to share their vision with Christian students at colleges, universities and churches throughout the United States. Their call to "come with us to reach the unreached" is presented to student groups and reinforced through one-on-one counseling. Mission partners in the program have included Wycliffe Bible Translators, TEAM, Frontiers, YWAM and others. Caleb Resources also serves as a missions resource network to provide study tools that encourage others toward Great Commission involvement. Spreading the Vision The involvement of local churches is essential to evangelizing unreached peoples. Caleb Resources helps facilitate a growing number of church-based missions awareness courses being taught in the Rocky Mountain region. Another important key is the vision of church leaders. Through Caleb Resources Church Leadership Expeditions, pastors and leaders gain concentrated overseas experience. They also learn effective methods for leading their churches into strategic missions involvement. Caleb Resources has also developed creative presentations that stimulate and challenge church members. Recently, Caleb Resources has responded to requests to assist other denominations, churches and mission agencies by providing training for their members. Discovering New Opportunities Caleb Resources Research Teams travel to cities like Bangkok, Casablanca and Damascus to build friendships that allow team members to see the city through the eyes of its residents. The information gained through this experience is then used by long-term workers and by prayer networks throughout the world. Some team members later return as part of long-term church-planting teams, while others use their professions as a platform for evangelism and discipleship. Other research team members become "advocates" for unreached peoples through Caleb Resources's People Specific Advocate ministry. People Specific Advocates dedicate themselves to encourage others to pray, give, and go, so that the Church may be established among these peoples.
